Pokemon Survivor multiplayer: set up a group of up to four, how revives and shared XP work, how enemies scale in co-op and how the leaderboards count.

Pokemon Survivor multiplayer lets up to four players share one run online. You add friends by nickname, they accept, you invite them to a room, and the host starts the game. Everyone fights the same crowd, shares experience and picks level-up cards, and the run ends when all of you have fallen. New to the game? Start with the Pokemon Survivor guide.

This page covers how to set up a group, what changes during a co-op run, how much harder the game gets and how the leaderboards count group runs. For the basics of a run, see how to play Pokemon Survivor.

How to set up a Pokemon Survivor multiplayer group

Players connect directly to the host, which runs the enemies, items, experience and the clock for everybody. If a direct connection fails, the game falls back to a slower route through its server, and the room shows who is connected directly and who is connected via the server.

  • Sign in. Friends and the leaderboard need an account, so create one first; see how to play for the account options.
  • Choose a nickname. Open Friends and pick one: 3 to 16 letters, numbers or underscores. It must be unique and cannot be changed later, and it is the name your friends and the leaderboard see.
  • Add your friends. Type your friend's exact nickname and send the request. They accept it, and then show as Online, Playing or Offline in your list.
  • Invite them. The player who invites becomes the host of the room. You can only invite friends, and the room holds up to four players.
  • Start the run. The host starts the game once at least one friend is in the room, and everyone enters at the same time.

What changes in a group run

  • Shared experience. Experience is shared, so everyone levels up together.
  • Cards are picked by everyone. On each level-up every player picks a card, and the game does not go on until all of you have picked.
  • Revives. A fallen player stays on the ground. A teammate who stands beside them for 3 seconds brings them back with half their health.
  • All fall, run over. The run ends when every player is down.
  • Pick your cards well. The run waits for you, so know your build; see Pokemon Survivor tips for card advice.
  • Teammate arrows. Arrows on the screen edge point to teammates who are off-screen, with their name and distance in metres; the arrow is red when they are down.
  • No pause. Pausing does not stop the game for a group.
  • Host leaves, game ends. If the host leaves, the run ends for everyone.
  • Tickets are the team's. Tickets for the gacha collected in a group belong to the whole team.

How much harder co-op gets

The crowd grows with the group while each player earns less experience from it. The table shows the multipliers against a solo run.

  • Bosses are scaled up further, and bosses and rift legendaries have 40% more health on top of that once there is more than one player. See bosses and rifts.

Leaderboards and profiles

The leaderboard ranks the time you survive, with separate tabs for solo and group runs. You can look at today, this week, this month, this year or all time (days follow Spanish time), filter to friends only, or filter by Pokemon (see the best Pokemon for ideas). Your own rank is shown below the top 50.

Each player or team keeps one entry per board, replaced only when a run beats it. A group entry shows the whole team, and the host uploads it. The game also has basic anti-cheat checks.

The 14 October 2026 patch notes say the weekly and monthly boards were reset, and that only runs which reach the Judgment of Arceus count on them now.

From the leaderboard or your friends list you can open a player's public profile, which shows their three favorite Pokemon, a title, best marks and up to eight medals. A profile is published when you play with an online account.
