The table lists all Pokemon Survivor starters with their types, region, first move and tier from our tier list, then the two traits the test scores for it and the answer string that gets it. An answer string lists your choice (A to D) for questions 1 to 8 in order.

How the Pokemon Survivor starters test works
Each answer gives points to one or more of 16 traits. Your highest trait is the one the game shows as your personality. The recommended starter is the one with the highest value of twice its first trait plus its second trait, and when several starters tie the game picks one of them at random.
We tried all 65,536 answer combinations. 24,887 of them end in a tie, which is why a few starters, such as Treecko and Froakie, share an answer string and only come up half the time.
Mudkip, Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil are the most common results, with 10.8%, 7.8%, and 6.4% of all answer combinations. Chikorita, Popplio, and Oshawott are the rarest. Real players do not answer at random, so treat these as a guide to how hard each starter is to reach, not a measured share.
