At minute 30 every run reaches the Judgment: Pokemon Survivor Arceus appears, cannot be hurt, and hunts the nearest living player while an endless queue of legendaries arrives. You cannot win, the aim is to last as long as you can.
This page covers how the Judgment starts, the four attacks of Pokemon Survivor Arceus, the legendaries that arrive and the rewards. For the legendaries on their own see legendaries; for the earlier fights see bosses and rifts.
How the Judgment starts
- It begins at 30:00, after any rift or level-up card you are in finishes. A short animation of about 10 seconds plays; the first time it is full, later times it can be skipped, and only the host can skip it in co-op.
- Nothing else spawns. There are no waves, events or rifts during the Judgment.
- A bigger arena. The arena has a radius of 24 tiles. Arceus is invincible and chases the nearest living player, slower than you at first, equal at 20 seconds and faster from about 37 seconds on.
- It ignores defense. Arceus damage ignores types and armor, so armor items and the type chart do not help here.
Pokemon Survivor Arceus attacks
Arceus casts every 3.2 seconds at first, and the gap shortens by 0.025 seconds for every second of the fight until it reaches 1.4 seconds at about 72 seconds. All hits take a share of your maximum health.
| Attack | Damage | Pattern | Warning |
|---|---|---|---|
| Touch | 40% of your maximum health | every 0.9 s while in contact | - |
| Judgment pillars | 30% of your maximum health | 4 at first, +1 every 10 seconds, up to 10 each; the first lands on you | 1.25 s |
| Cross beams | 35% of your maximum health | 4 beams, 8 after 30 seconds | 1.1 s |
| Shockwave | 40% of your maximum health | a ring around Arceus; picked 60% of the time when you are close | 0.85 s |
The legend queue
The first legendary arrives after 1.2 seconds and a new one comes every 5 seconds, with no limit. Each one has twice the health and damage of the one before. The queue cycles through 40 random legendaries and leaves Arceus itself out. They give XP only, with no coins, tickets or items. Numbers are for a solo player.
| Legendary | Arrives | Health (at least) | Hit | Shot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Legendary 1 | 1.2 s | 6,790 | 126 | 63 |
| Legendary 2 | 6.2 s | 13,580 | 253 | 126 |
| Legendary 3 | 11.2 s | 27,160 | 506 | 253 |
| Legendary 4 | 16.2 s | 54,320 | 1,014 | 507 |
| Legendary 5 | 21.2 s | 108,640 | 2,033 | 1,016 |
| Legendary 6 | 26.2 s | 217,280 | 4,074 | 2,037 |
| Legendary 7 | 31.2 s | 434,560 | 8,164 | 4,082 |
| Legendary 8 | 36.2 s | 869,120 | 16,360 | 8,180 |
How to last longer
- Keep moving. The first Judgment pillar lands on your position and the beams and shockwave are warned about a second ahead, so moving is the main defense. Movement speed from upgrades and a fast partner from best Pokemon in Pokemon Survivor both help.
- Extra health points do not buy extra hits. Every hit takes a share of your maximum health, so what counts is not being hit and recovering between hits.
- Armor does not work here. Types, armor cards and the Assault Vest do not reduce Arceus damage; see the type chart for what they do against everything else.
- Use the legendaries. The first one has at least 6,790 health solo, or 3 times your recent single-target damage per second if that is higher, so a strong build removes it in seconds and collects the XP. See Pokemon Survivor tips for build advice.
- Bring friends. In a group a fallen player can be revived, though the legendaries have more health. See Pokemon Survivor multiplayer.
