Stats and Stat Score
Armarouge has 108 HP, 110 speed and a 1.39x attack multiplier. The multiplier scales every move it uses, so it is the number to watch.

Weighting attack at half and HP and speed at a quarter each gives the Stat Score of 69, which puts it at rank 136 overall, rank 25 of 92 among Paldea Pokemon and rank 14 of 76 Fire-types and 17 of 96 Psychic-types. The score comes from the game's stat table, not from playtests, so read it together with the best Pokemon guide.

Armarouge moves
Pokemon that are not starters begin with the signature move of their first type, so Armarouge starts every run with Ember: a fireball at the nearest enemy.
The level-up cards can then offer 18 different moves: the 8 Normal moves that every Pokemon shares plus 10 moves of its own types. Moves level up to level 5 and can evolve once you also take the stat card they need, which is covered in the move evolution guide. The permanent Repertoire upgrade adds a second, random starting move; see the upgrades guide.
- Normal moves: Tackle, Quick Attack, Swords Dance, Agility, Harden, Body Slam, Hyper Voice, Substitute
- Fire moves: Ember, Flamethrower, Fire Spin, Heat Wave, Will-O-Wisp, Flame Wheel
- Psychic moves: Confusion, Psybeam, Psychic, Psycho Cut
Weaknesses and resistances
Armarouge takes extra damage from Water (1.6x), Ground (1.6x), Rock (1.6x), Ghost (1.6x), and Dark (1.6x). It resists Fire (0.6x), Grass (0.6x), Ice (0.6x), Fighting (0.6x), Psychic (0.6x), Steel (0.6x), and Fairy (0.6x). The remaining 6 of 18 types deal normal damage. The chart is softer than the main games: a super-effective hit is x1.6, a resisted hit x0.6 and an immunity x0.3, and two types multiply with each other inside the range 0.3 to 2.4. See the type chart guide for every matchup.
The multipliers apply to the damage you take, and enemies attack with the first type listed for them, so the dangerous enemies for Armarouge are the ones whose first type is Water, Ground, Rock, Ghost, or Dark. Boss shots carry their first type too. Weather does not change these numbers, but it changes your own damage; see the weather guide. There is no same-type bonus, so Fire or Psychic moves do not hit harder just because Armarouge shares the type.
How to get Armarouge
Armarouge is part of the Paldea banner. A single pull first picks a rarity (6.5% for Epic) and then picks one of the 30 Epic Pokemon on that banner at random, so one pull gives Armarouge a 0.22% chance. Without pity helping at this rarity, expect to need around 462 pulls for this one in particular, although the pulls you spend on the banner also fill the rest of your collection.
A pull costs one ticket and ten pulls cost ten tickets or one x10 ticket. Tickets are earned in runs, from missions and from chests and are never sold for money. A duplicate turns into 120 coins, or 360 if it is the shiny version. The full odds and the pity rule are in the gacha guide.
Shiny Armarouge exists in this game. One pull in a hundred is a shiny, and wild enemies are shiny one time in 4096. Read the shiny guide for the details.
Armarouge as an enemy
Armarouge can show up as a regular enemy from 6:20 into the run (enemy tier 5). Each run draws only seven Pokemon per tier, so it is in some runs and absent from others.
Its enemy role is beamer: it fires a long ray after a one-second warning line on the ground.
It is also strong enough to be picked as a boss: it can fill the minute 3 or minute 6 slot. Boss fights are laid out in the bosses guide. Its attack set would be a ground slam, a straight charge, falling danger zones, and a ring of shots.
