Stats and Stat Score
Koraidon has 115 HP, 135 speed and a 1.44x attack multiplier. The multiplier scales every move it uses, so it is the number to watch.
Compared with the whole roster, its HP is well above average, its speed is among the best on the roster and its attack is among the best on the roster. Weighting attack at half and HP and speed at a quarter each gives the Stat Score of 87, which puts it at rank 10 overall, rank 1 of 92 among Paldea Pokemon and rank 1 of 68 Fighting-types and 2 of 67 Dragon-types. The score comes from the game's stat table, not from playtests, so read it together with the best Pokemon guide.
On the full Pokedex ranking Koraidon sits next to Xurkitree one place above it and Roaring Moon one place below it.

Koraidon moves
Pokemon that are not starters begin with the signature move of their first type, so Koraidon starts every run with Karate Chop: a sharp, powerful blow straight ahead.
The level-up cards can then offer 12 different moves: the 8 Normal moves that every Pokemon shares plus 4 moves of its own types. Moves level up to level 5 and can evolve once you also take the stat card they need, which is covered in the move evolution guide. The permanent Repertoire upgrade adds a second, random starting move; see the upgrades guide.
- Normal moves: Tackle, Quick Attack, Swords Dance, Agility, Harden, Body Slam, Hyper Voice, Substitute
- Fighting moves: Karate Chop, Aura Sphere
- Dragon moves: Dragon Rage, Dragon Dance
Weaknesses and resistances
Koraidon takes extra damage from Fairy (2.4x), Ice (1.6x), Flying (1.6x), Psychic (1.6x), and Dragon (1.6x). It resists Fire (0.6x), Water (0.6x), Electric (0.6x), Grass (0.6x), Bug (0.6x), Rock (0.6x), and Dark (0.6x). The remaining 6 of 18 types deal normal damage. The chart is softer than the main games: a super-effective hit is x1.6, a resisted hit x0.6 and an immunity x0.3, and two types multiply with each other inside the range 0.3 to 2.4. See the type chart guide for every matchup.
The multipliers apply to the damage you take, and enemies attack with the first type listed for them, so the dangerous enemies for Koraidon are the ones whose first type is Fairy, Ice, Flying, Psychic, or Dragon, which hit for up to 2.4x. Boss shots carry their first type too. Weather does not change these numbers, but it changes your own damage; see the weather guide. There is no same-type bonus, so Fighting or Dragon moves do not hit harder just because Koraidon shares the type.
How to get Koraidon
Koraidon is part of the Paldea banner. A single pull first picks a rarity (1.5% for Legendary) and then picks one of the 12 Legendary Pokemon on that banner at random, so one pull gives Koraidon a 0.13% chance. Every banner has its own pity counter: the 70th pull without a 5-star is always a 5-star, which works out to about 43.5 pulls per 5-star and roughly 522 pulls to land this particular one.
A pull costs one ticket and ten pulls cost ten tickets or one x10 ticket. Tickets are earned in runs, from missions and from chests and are never sold for money. A duplicate turns into 300 coins, or 900 if it is the shiny version. The full odds and the pity rule are in the gacha guide.
Koraidon has no shiny sprite in the current build, so its pulls are never shiny.
Koraidon as an enemy
Koraidon never shows up as a regular enemy because 5-star Pokemon are left out of the enemy cast.
As a legendary it can also be the opponent in a rift. The game picks a rift legendary at random and favors the ones you have not beaten yet, then builds an arena from one of its types: Ancient Dojo (Fighting) or Dragon Sanctuary (Dragon). Its attack set is a ground slam, a straight charge, a fan of beams, and falling danger zones. See the rifts guide and the legendaries guide.
