Stats and Stat Score
Snover has 97 HP, 95 speed and a 1.04x attack multiplier. The multiplier scales every move it uses, so it is the number to watch.
Compared with the whole roster, its HP is below average, its speed is among the lowest on the roster and its attack is below average. Weighting attack at half and HP and speed at a quarter each gives the Stat Score of 33.8, which puts it at rank 755 overall, rank 84 of 107 among Sinnoh Pokemon and rank 86 of 118 Grass-types and 40 of 46 Ice-types. The score comes from the game's stat table, not from playtests, so read it together with the best Pokemon guide.

Snover moves
Pokemon that are not starters begin with the signature move of their first type, so Snover starts every run with Vine Whip: long-range whips in a wide arc.
The level-up cards can then offer 15 different moves: the 8 Normal moves that every Pokemon shares plus 7 moves of its own types. Moves level up to level 5 and can evolve once you also take the stat card they need, which is covered in the move evolution guide. The permanent Repertoire upgrade adds a second, random starting move; see the upgrades guide.
- Normal moves: Tackle, Quick Attack, Swords Dance, Agility, Harden, Body Slam, Hyper Voice, Substitute
- Grass moves: Vine Whip, Razor Leaf, Petal Blizzard, Grass Knot
- Ice moves: Ice Beam, Powder Snow, Hail
Weaknesses and resistances
Snover takes extra damage from Fire (2.4x), Fighting (1.6x), Poison (1.6x), Flying (1.6x), Bug (1.6x), Rock (1.6x), and Steel (1.6x). It resists Water (0.6x), Electric (0.6x), Grass (0.6x), and Ground (0.6x). The remaining 7 of 18 types deal normal damage. The chart is softer than the main games: a super-effective hit is x1.6, a resisted hit x0.6 and an immunity x0.3, and two types multiply with each other inside the range 0.3 to 2.4. See the type chart guide for every matchup.
The multipliers apply to the damage you take, and enemies attack with the first type listed for them, so the dangerous enemies for Snover are the ones whose first type is Fire, Fighting, Poison, Flying, Bug, Rock, or Steel, which hit for up to 2.4x. Boss shots carry their first type too. Weather does not change these numbers, but it changes your own damage; see the weather guide. There is no same-type bonus, so Grass or Ice moves do not hit harder just because Snover shares the type.
How to get Snover
Snover is part of the Sinnoh banner. A single pull first picks a rarity (30% for Uncommon) and then picks one of the 20 Uncommon Pokemon on that banner at random, so one pull gives Snover a 1.5% chance. Without pity helping at this rarity, expect to need around 67 pulls for this one in particular, although the pulls you spend on the banner also fill the rest of your collection.
A pull costs one ticket and ten pulls cost ten tickets or one x10 ticket. Tickets are earned in runs, from missions and from chests and are never sold for money. A duplicate turns into 30 coins, or 90 if it is the shiny version. The full odds and the pity rule are in the gacha guide.
A rarity-2 Pokemon like Snover can also turn up as the Lost Pokemon event in a run. Lead it to the marker and, one time in five, it joins your collection; you always get coins, a ticket and a heal.
Shiny Snover exists in this game. One pull in a hundred is a shiny, and wild enemies are shiny one time in 4096. Read the shiny guide for the details.
Snover as an enemy
Snover can show up as a regular enemy from 1:10 into the run (enemy tier 2). Each run draws only seven Pokemon per tier, so it is in some runs and absent from others.
Its enemy role is chaser: it walks straight at you and hurts you on contact.
